This policy explains what information the Long Island Daily Dispatch ("LIDD") collects and how we use it.

What we collect

• Readers: we count story views in aggregate. We do not sell reader data or build advertising profiles.
• Contributors: name, email, optional website, and the stories and photos you file.
• Event and ad requests: the contact details and messages you submit.

How we use it

• To publish and credit contributor stories, and link to contributors' own sites.
• To review event listings and reply to advertising inquiries.
• To share new story alerts with our community group (headline, photo, link).

Sharing

We don't sell personal information. Contributor names and websites are shown publicly with their stories. Emails are never published.

Your choices

Contributors can edit or delete their own stories at any time. To delete your account or ask about your data, email info@longislanddailydispatch.com.
